The Highland Film Club

The Highland Film Club is an exciting addition to Kohima’s cultural scene. Based at The Highland Institute, close to Don Bosco School in Kohima Village, the Club will show diverse films by indigenous and non-indigenous filmmakers every month. Offerings will address themes of care, stereotypes, addressing trauma, environmental stewardship, preserving traditions, and cultures through critical thinking and debate. There will be an opportunity to discuss the films after the event.

The Club is open to all. All events are FREE. Check our Linktree for updates on our next screenings and details on how to book.

The first screening was on the 24th February, with the film We Will Walk The Trail of Our Ancestors by Reciprocity Project (US) www.reciprocity.org.
