The Highland Institute

Founded in 2013, by Dr. Michael Heneise and Dr. Kekhrie Yhome, and registered as a Public Charitable Trust in Nagaland, the Highland Institute (originally ‘The Kohima Institute’) is an international research centre and scholarly society (Highland Institute Fellowship), bringing together scholars and intellectuals from rural and urban localities across Highland Asia, South and Southeast Asia, Europe, the United States, and the Globe to work collaboratively in addressing critical health, environmental, cultural, linguistic, developmental, and policy challenges affecting communities across the Asian Highlands and beyond.
