Margaret Lyngdoh is pursuing a Post Doctorate at The Kohima Institute under the supervision of Professor Arkotong Longkumer. Prof Longkumer was one of the founders of the research institution, but he is based in the University of Edinburgh, UK. Margaret’s work is located on the intersections of “world religions” like Christianity and Hinduism as they manifest themselves among indigenous communities in Northeast India; and their encounters with “indigenous religion(s)”. The Kohima Institute has afforded an open forum, and extensive support for her to carry out her research.
