Lue Htar has a degree in economics and has conducted extensive field research in South East Asia within the areas of justice provision, land, and socio-economic and rural development. Her work has featured in several reputed academic publications. She is passionately committed to research that can contribute to the betterment of society. At The Highland Institute, she leads the MyClimate project in coordination with Tarini, which is supported by the Danish Institute of International Studies and focuses on ‘Climate Actions, Conflict and Peacebuilding’.
