A. Sentiyula has a PhD in English from Nagaland University. She is currently the Head of Department of English at Dimapur Government College, Nagaland. Her area of interest includes Naga Writings in English, Writings from the Northeast of India, and Indigenous Studies. She has co-authored a book titled Studies in Contemporary Naga Writings. Her creative nonfiction writing has been featured in Olio – Obscure Writings From Nagaland, an anthology. Her recent writings include the Foreword to The Diary of Connie Shakespear – The Naga Hills 1900-1902, a publication of Highlander Books under The Highland Institute.
